I LOVED seeing your bright and powdery creations February’s Red Velveg Crinkle Cookie Challenge.

With spring and Easter upon us, I thought it would be fun to do a LAYER CAKE recipe for the first time in Handle the Heat Challenge history.
So let’s reveal the recipe…
This is a recipe that I think even carrot cake haters would love. The brown butter adds so much flavor and moist texture and it’s paired with an out of this world cream cheese frosting.
They’re such a crowd pleaser! Maybe it’ll even make it to your Easter or Mother’s Day celebrations over the coming months.
Here’s how to participate in this challenge:
Step 1: Make the Brown Butter Carrot Cake.
Step 2: Take a photo of your cake and share it before March 31st 11:59pm MST.

Click the button that says “SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY” – this will pop up a little widget where you can submit your photo:
- You can select your entry photo from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, OR upload directly from your computer, tablet, or smart phone.
There’s also a few optional bonus entries to increase your chances of winning!
Every person who submits a photo following those directions will be entered into a random giveaway to win one of two $75 Amazon.com digital gift cards!
The prizes are available to anyone in the world who can shop with Amazon. I will purchase the gift card on your country’s Amazon homepage in the equivalent current market value of $75USD.
The winners will be selected randomly; so don’t worry about taking a perfect picture. Your photos may be put on display to share with my entire audience – that’s hundreds of thousands of people! I will email the winners. Winner must reply within 2 business days or a new winner will be chosen. Official rules are listed in the entry widget.
