About Me
Hi. I’m Tessa. I’m writing to you from the giant oven that is Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve lived in California and Australia but for most of my life I’ve called Arizona home. Currently finishing in culinary school and a bachelor’s degree. The thought of trying a new recipe excites every part of me more than almost anything else. I could stare at Food Gawker and sift through cookbooks and food magazines for hours. And I do.
I started this blog in April of 2009 as a way to document my own experiences with cooking and baking and to join the amazing community of lovely food bloggers. So far I’ve loved every second of participating in the food blogging world… even the times when my plate of food goes cold because I just spent 15 minutes taking photos of it.
My first cookbook is now available for purchase! It is called Cookies & Cream and features 50 recipes for homemade ice cream sandwiches with fabulous flavors like Red Velvet Cheesecake, Boston Cream Pie, and Cookies and Cream. I first wrote about the book in early 2012 and it’s thrilling that it’s here!
I hope you enjoy your time here on my blog and find a recipe (or a few) you end up trying. If you have any questions, comments, or are interested in working with me here’s how to contact me:
