Salami, Feta, and Spinach Pasta is delightfully easy yet flavorful and will satisfy any pasta craving.
Salami is kind of a gross word. Like moist, squirt, or even blog. Salami as a word is not nearly as wonderful as salami as a food. I love salami and will add it to sandwiches and salads whenever I get the chance. It adds a level of savory flavor with almost no effort. I recently discovered how amazing salami is when added to pasta, hence this recipe! It’s meaty, salty, savory, and full of texture. Plus, the list of ingredients is short and it takes even less time to cook!

Salami, Feta, and Spinach Pasta
Ingredients
- 12 ounces whole wheat penne
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 6 ounces hard salami slices, cut into thin strips
- 4 cups fresh baby spinach
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and return to pot.
- Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large skillet. Add the salami and cook for 3 minutes, or until browned. Turn off the heat and add the spinach, garlic, and red pepper flakes and cook until the spinach is wilted down and the garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add the salami, spinach, and garlic to the pasta along with the remaining 1 teaspoon olive oil. Add in the parsley, onions, and feta and toss to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper before serving.

So glad you loved this, Yvonne!!
This is so delicious! I want to make my own.
I was debating about adding sundried tomatoes for a splash of color and flavor. Do you think that would work with this dish? TIA.
What a gorgeous pasta. We often time have a little bit of salami in the fridge, this would be perfect for it! Sharing it on my FB page later this week – Thanks
