This next challenge recipe is a recipe that blew my expectations out of the water when I first tasted it. Then, everyone who I shared the results with LOVED it. Some of my friends said it was the best thing they’ve tasted from me which is always something I love to hear!!
The March recipe is…
The cake base is an ultra moist and flavorful brown butter sour cream cake with a sweet brown sugar cinnamon streusel ribboned throughout. It’s my all time favorite coffee cake recipe and hopefully it’ll become yours too!
If you’ve never browned butter before, I’m going to be doing a demonstration on my Instagram story today then saving it as a highlight, so be sure you’re following over there.
Here’s how to participate in this challenge:
Step 1: Make a batch of Brown Butter Coffee Cake.
Step 2: Take a photo of your cake and share it before March 31st 11:59pm MST.

Click the button that says “SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY” – this will pop up a little widget where you can submit your photo:
- You can select your entry photo from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, OR upload directly from your computer, tablet, or smart phone.
You MUST submit your photo using the entry widget. If you simply upload to social media without directly submitting your photo through this widget, your entry will *not* be counted.
There’s also an optional bonus entry! If you refer a friend who also joins the challenge, it doubles your chances of winning.
Only one photo entry per person.
Every person who submits a photo following those directions will be entered into a random giveaway to win one of two $75 Amazon.com digital gift cards.
The winners will be selected randomly; so don’t worry about taking a perfect picture. Your photos may be put on display to share with my entire audience – that’s hundreds of thousands of people! I will email the winners. Winners must reply within 2 business days or a new winner will be chosen.
Anyone who shops at Amazon across the world is eligible for the prize. I will purchase the gift card through your country’s Amazon webpage using the current market exchange rate from U.S. dollars.
