    This is definitely my favorite kind of apple pie, and it reminds me of my childhood. Your recipe is a little different than our family recipe, but I am definitely going to give it a try when the weather gets a little crisp-er! Thanks for posting this!

    My grandma's apple pie is my all-time favorite! Hers is a crust top instead of crumb and I know I can never make one as good so I think I'll let her bake that variation and I'll make this instead 🙂

    Looks yummy! My fave holiday desserts are lace cookies and pumpkin pie. To me, that equals fall/winter holidays.

    A small remark, Dutch apple pies actually don't have a streuzel topping, but a lace topping made of strips of pastry which are laid on the top! I know, since I'm Dutch 😉

    I love any pie with a streusel topping, especially apple! I've always wished I grew up in a house where pies were cooling on the windowsill too 🙂

      Definitely! I served leftovers re-heated warm with vanilla ice cream when I made this.
