Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and I’ve done all the work of putting together a complete Mother’s Day Brunch menu and recipe guide just for you!
That way, you can enjoy your time spent celebrating all the wonderful moms and daughters in your life. Even if they deserve to be showered with love and appreciation every day.
We had so much fun shooting this brunch. My mom, grandmas, aunt, and little cousins all got together well before the actual holiday to shoot the photos you see above and in the guide below. It was a great excuse to finally get some family portraits as well!
The incredible breakfast skillet recipe was invented by my friend Chef Brendan McCaskey. My family DEVOURED them. There are a few components to the skillets (including hash brown waffles!!), but Brendan has broken them up in the simplest way possible in the Mother’s Day Brunch Guide below.
When it comes to entertaining, simplicity is best. There’s no need to stress yourself out with elaborate table settings and centerpieces. People will remember the delicious food and how they felt in your company the most.
I prefer to use beautiful handmade ceramic dishes and vases to make a table feel elegantly understated. Simple vintage-style flowers truly make the easiest table decor. I’ve been kind of flower-obsessed lately, in the best possible way.
So how do you get to all of these gorgeous recipes again? Well, my team has helped me to put together a BEAUTIFUL complete Mother’s Day Brunch guide with all of the recipes and entertaining inspiration you need to make this a Mother’s Day to remember!
The guide is a thank you gift from me to you. Knowing that my recipes are helping your families to celebrate holidays means the world to me, so I’ve sponsored this guide to make it free of charge. I hope you enjoy it. If you make any of the recipes, share them on Instagram with #handletheheat or upload them to HTH’s Facebook page here.

Happy Mother’s Day!
I’m trying to get a copy of your mother’s day brunch guide but when I enter my email it never comes though. I’ve check my spam folder but it’s not in there either. Is there any other way you could send it to me?
Please email [email protected] and my team will get this fixed for you 🙂
Such a great idea, Tessa. Those doughnuts are making me drool. I’m excited to hear you’re coming to Australia as that’s where I’m from. What part/s are you visiting?
Thank you!! I’ll be coming to Perth & Fremantle (where my mom grew up) and Sydney. I’m so excited because last year we came but only visited Melbourne (where my grandpa lives). I haven’t been to WA since I was really young. Where are you?
