Cooking for 2 can be really difficult, I agree. Like you said, some ingredients are just really difficult to reduce (like an egg), but I don&amp;#39;t always want 2-3 days worth of leftovers, especially if it&amp;#39;s a new recipe and doesn&amp;#39;t turn out well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And congrats on the herb garden. I have a pot of basil out on my patio (my cats would destroy it if I brought it indoors...) and have been amazed at how well it&amp;#39;s growing. I can&amp;#39;t believe how much cheaper it is to buy the plant than the packages of herbs, especially when you take into consideration how much better the freshly grown herbs taste.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6969360994545096471/7536107406664319349/comments/default/3450258705217512736'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6969360994545096471/7536107406664319349/comments/default/3450258705217512736'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.handletheheat.com/2009/07/pan-roasted-chicken-with-mushrooms-and.html?showComment=1247447329962#c3450258705217512736' title=''/><author><name>thenotsoskinnykitchen</name><uri>http://thenotsoskinnykitchen.wordpress.com/</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img1.blogblog.com/img/openid16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.handletheheat.com/2009/07/pan-roasted-chicken-with-mushrooms-and.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6969360994545096471.post-7536107406664319349' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6969360994545096471/posts/default/7536107406664319349' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-888793618'/></entry></feed>
