Daring Desserts Competition! – CLOSED

What would you do with an Amazon gift card? There’s almost too much to choose from! Remember that television game show Supermarket Sweep? My dream is to play that game but on Amazon, with an e-cart. 

So how can you win an Amazon gift card? Compete in my Daring Desserts contest sponsored by the awesome folks at Appliances Online, the biggest UK-based virtual appliance store that offers thousands of appliances.

How to Compete:

  • Create a DARING DESSERT – any dessert you’ve whipped up.
  • There are two ways to compete. You can enter both ways, but you cannot win both. 
  • Two winners will be selected based off their entry’s creativity and deliciousness factor. 

Blog Post Competition:

  • Winner will receive a $100 Amazon Gift Card!
  • Post a photo of your daring dessert to your own blog. Under the photo, include the tagline “Here is my entry to the Appliances Online daring desserts competition, check out the other entries on Handle the Heat“ – be sure to link to Appliance Online’s washing machine page and to Handle the Heat’s Daring Dessert competition page.
  • Come back to this post and leave a comment including your entry post link AND your email address to be entered into the competition. You must comment to enter. 

Twitter Competition:

  •  Winner will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card!
  • Tweet me a photo of your daring dessert saying something like, “Here is my entry for @handleheat‘s DARING DESSERT competition at http://bit.ly/xpYVQq – http://instagr.am/p/mRstH/” – be sure to (1) mention my twitter handle, (2) include a link to this post and (3) a photo of your dessert within the tweet!
  • Come back to this post and leave a comment including your twitter handle or a link to the tweet AND your email address to be entered into the competition. You must comment to enter.

 More Rules:

  • Open to everyone. You must enter before Thursday, February 9th at 11:59 MST. Two entries available per person. Two individual winners will be chosen via judgement criteria by Appliances Online and Handle the Heat.

    Oohh, fun!! I used to LOVE Supermarket Sweep. I thought them running and panicking through the aisles was the funniest thing.

    Thanks so much for this competition. I love your recipes and have been following your blog for a little while. I got inspired to restart my old blog (not sure where my old posts ended up) but I'm happy to submit my first entry for your competition.     I also use to love Supermarket sweep. Had to stock up on those expensive meats!
